Monday night the temperature was chilly but I had a warm and fuzzy feeling inside as I watched the festivities at the North Ranch County Club. North Ranch and surrounding Conejo Valley communities came out in full force to support Food Share, Ventura County’s Food Bank.

As I enjoyed a light complimentary meal, North Ranch’s very own tennis star, Sam Querrey and his energetic Sr. Samurai’s put on a tennis exhibition. He later invited others to join him on the court as part of the 1st of 3 events happening this month.

Last night, a variety of items from rounds of golf to Halloween items were raffled off and donations benefited the Food Share organization. Bonnie Weigel, CEO of Food Share, graciously thanked the crowd for their participation and anxiously awaits the next 2 events. The Charity Dinner on Sept. 25th and the Pro-Am Tennis Tournament Sunday Sept. 27th will undoubtedly be a tremendous success for this worthy cause.
